Poor fitting adapter can still work with an additional purchase
by H. Fox -
Full disclosure - I don't own this adapter - yet. I recently purchased an AirSense 11 and was looking for one of these to use with my SoClean 2. I noticed from the reviews here that the main complaint with the adapter lid is that it needs to be swapped out with the ResMed lid after cleaning. I realize it's an extra expense, but that problem can be solved by purchasing an additional reservoir so that the adapter lid can stay on it full-time. When cleaning is necessary, just swap the reservoirs - quick and easy. I've used this strategy for years with the AirSense 10. Just a suggestion...
How to make the SoClean work on Airsense 11 with parts from the Airsense 10
by Mike
I took the adapter for my Airsense 10, cut out the port where the ozone is injected. Drilled a hole in the Airsense 11 tank lid and glued the port from the old lid into the new lid.
