BreathWear Pillow Mask - S/M/L Pillows

Product Description

This mask will work with any brand of CPAP or bi-level machine. The Yuwell BreathWear nasal pillow fit pack is an affordable CPAP mask used for the treatment of sleep apnea. The fit pack includes three sizes of pillow cushions (small, medium, and large) to insure a proper fit. This is a very lightweight mask weighing in at only 2.5 ounces. Along with it's light design it is also extremely quiet.

Special Features

  • Compatible with ALL brands of CPAP and Bi-Level machines
  • Includes pillow cushions to fit any size nostril
  • Short Tube connects to any hose and adds length

If you are a current user of the ResMed AirFit P10 series or the DreamWear Gel nasal pillow then you should consider trying the new BreathWear mask! The Yuwell family of CPAP masks are new to the market and meant to be an affordable competitor to the big name brands. Replacement parts are available such as headgear strap and individual size pillow cushions.

Nasal pillow masks are the smallest interfaces used for sleep apnea treatment. This style of mask is great for people that require lower CPAP pressures. If you are a user that requires greater than 12cm/H2O then a nasal pillow mask is not an optimal choice however you can add a chinstrap if your mouth is forced open.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal pillow style CPAP mask. These masks are the least invasive and use silicone pillows that
seal in or around the outside of the nostril only.

Will This Brand
of Mask Work with Any CPAP Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal pillow CPAP
mask is A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Can't Side Sleep & Super Loud

The first thing I noticed was this mask is really loud, air escapes from the pillow where it connects to the mask. Second thing I noticed is the nose pillow points air at the inside wall of my nose which after several minutes causes sever pain. After the first night of sleep, I found out you can't sleep on your side with this mask, the nose pillow piece is hard plastic and where it connects to the head strap is also rigid, if your pillow touches your cheek it will press the strap piece and thus the hard nose piece so pushes your nose to the side - very painful. The mask is unusable, do not recommend it.

Glad I Tried It!

I was skeptical at first since I have always used the restmed mask. I happened to be in the 1800cpap store when these new mask arrived and talked them into letting me try it. My first night was great and it was so light it didnt feel like I was wearing it at all. The only knock I have against it is I feel like the head strap was a little too big. Over all I give it 2 thumbs up!
