CPAP Tubing Hose - 18in

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The 18 inch CPAP tubing hose is typically used with the older style of CPAP and Bi-Level machines that did not have a heated humidifier connected to the machine. Older style machines used an external (standalone) heated humidifier. The 18-inch tube connects the CPAP or Bi-Level to the humidifier (most commonly used: Fisher Paykel HC150JHU ) and then a 6ft, 8ft or 10ft tube connects the water chamber to the CPAP mask.

The 18-inch tubing can also be used as an extension to your current standard hose tubing but needs the proper connector between the tubes to properly work.

Special Features

22mm Rubber cuff ends allow for the 18-inch CPAP Tubing Hose to be used with many different brands of CPAP or Bi-Level machines as well as external Heated Humidifiers.

Will This CPAP Hose Tubing Work with Any CPAP Brand?

Yes, standard CPAP hose tubing is made to work with any CPAP
brand. We define standard as a 6ft length with 22 mm cuffs at each end. This is
the standard tube that is universal to all CPAP machines. The only exception
would be for travel CPAP machines that require a special connector.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP machine parts such as tubing, water chamber and
filters do not require a prescription for purchase.

Is this CPAP Hose Tubing Heated?

No. These CPAP hose tubes are not heated. if your CPAP or
bi-level machine uses heated hose tubing, please shop our selection of heated
tubes specific to your model. If you need assistance, please contact our
customer service department.

How Often Should I Replace My CPAP Tubing?

Your CPAP hose tubing should be replaced every 6-12 months
or if it develops any type of leak during use. Proper maintenance and care will
promote a longer lifespan of your CPAP hose. Please refer to your manual for
cleaning and replacement instructions

How Do I Clean My CPAP Tubing?

CPAP tubing should be cleaned at least once a week using mild
soap. It is best to submerge your hose in soapy water and thoroughly rinse. It
is best to let it air dry.  A helpful tip
is to hang it over your shower rod and let it drip dry. There are tube brush
cleaners available to get the hard-to-reach places of your tubing.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

Love this size hose - it is perfect!!!

Love this size hose! Since I use nose pillows, which uses a short hose already, this size is perfect for use between that and the machine. Even though I can get the 6' hose for free from my insurance supplier, I pay out of pocket for these because they are so worth it. The 6' hose is needlessly long and it only took being bopped in the head by that long hose to come looking for a shorter one! And it is so much easier to clean. Obviously it is not going to work well with a mask style that doesn't already have a short hose incorporated, but for my application - it is perfect! Please don't ever stop carrying it or I'll have to figure out a way to cut up the long one :-) Thank you!!

Not Practical For Me

Not really sure what this product is for. I cant imagine someone actually needing one, I know I dont. At least it is cheap if you want to try it.
