DreamWear Full Face Replacement Headgear

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The DreamWear full face headgear is a replacement strap for the DreamWear Full Face CPAP mask. This headgear is a four strap adjustable harness made of soft, fabric and foam that rests at the back of the head, stabilizing the mask without requiring over-tightening or excessive contact.

It is one size, and is highly adjustable with Velcro at the end of each strap to fit a wide range of patients. User friendly, easy to adjust and soft and comfortable to wear. Magnetic attachment makes it easy to take your mask off with convenient magnetic clips.

Important Note: The headgear can also be used with other DreamWear masks when the cushion on that mask is changed out with a DreamWear full face cushion. This conversion procedure can be useful for people who like to sleep with a nasal or nasal pillow mask some nights and a full face mask on other nights. Giving the user more options with their sleep therapy.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

Good fit, a bit loud

The mask fits well as I have the occasional mouth breathing issue. The clips are good for a right fit and quick release. However, I find the breathing sound much louder than other nasal masks imho.

Great idea but bad execution

The mask idea is terrific but the execution is poor. Really hard to get a good seal for two reasons: (1) either the vents going into nose area need redesign or they need to make it smaller. The smallest one still leaks a lot. (2) In the sizer kit, M "extra wide" is horizontally wide but what's needed is increase in vertical height of the mask so that when it is under your nose it is not sitting on the edge of your lower lip! Makes me sort of slobber and uncomfortable. Too bad because I cannot tolerate the ones that sit on bridge of nose.

JUST TRY IT !!!

I did not purchase this mask from this site but wanted to post an honest review of it since I love it so much. Prior to this mask, I used the Phillips Amara View. The Amara View was good in concept but was down right horrible for me and I didn't realize it until I tried this mask. I liked the idea of a minimal contact mask and being able to watch TV while wearing the mask but the Amara View leaked so badly. I saw this mask and asked my CPAP supplier about it and luckily they had a sample pack on hand for me to use. Let me tell you after trying the DreamWear Full Face for a couple nights I now have a much easier time and it conforms to my face very well and does not leak! I use the medium frame with medium cushion.
