Product Description

The Pollen Foam Filters are made by Sunset Healthcare Solutions to properly fit and function with all applicable Philips Respironics REMstar™ M-Series Platforms. The filters are made of foam, are 1 11/16 inches long and 15/16 inches wide and are cleanable with warm soapy water. The filters are designed to filtrate the incoming air that the machine pulls in to generate your pressure while using your CPAP or Bi-PAP machine. The filter helps reduce the chance of air pollutants getting through the machine and ultimately to the user. Using a dirty filter can cause damage to the machine and in severe cases of a dirty filter can cause the machine to completely fail. A dirty filter limits the airflow a machine is generating from the room air to provide positive pressure. To extend the life of the machine and to get the best quality of air possible, keep your filters clean or replaced monthly.

Ultra Fine Filters are also available to add filtration of room air prior to you breathing it through the machine. The Pollen Foam Filter along with the Ultra Fine Filter are typically used by users with allergies or pets in the home.

Recommended Replacement Schedule

• Tube Hose: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed)
• Foam Filters: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed); wash weekly
• Ultra Fine Filters: Every Month (or as needed)
• Water Chamber: Every 3-6 Months (or as needed); wash daily

Special Features

These Filters are meant to be cleaned at least weekly.Never put a wet filter back into the machine.
