The HDM Z1® Auto Adjusting Travel CPAP machine responds to the user's therapy needs each night by using a breathing algorithm and sampling rate of several times per second. Auto Adjusting CPAPs allow the machine to increase or decrease the provided pressure solely based on the user's current sleeping pattern. This will ensure the user can be provided the correct pressure to keep the airway open; limiting the chances of apnea events from occurring.
The result of auto adjusting CPAP machines allow for a more responsive therapy, a natural breathing pattern, and a more comfortable experience. The size of the machine does not prevent it from working the same way as a larger device. The HDM Z1® weighs only 10 ounces making it ideal for travel or everyday use at home. Integrated with the HDM PowerShell® Battery Pack, the Z1 Auto delivers a full night of sleep on a single battery charge.
The HDM Z1® Auto Adjusting CPAP Machine is compatible with any CPAP mask the user may possess.

The machine and all included parts must be sent to 1800CPAP in the original packaging. If the Z1 CPAP is purchased with the power shell, the power shell may also be returned for a refund. Please Note: Additional accessories purchased for the Z1 machine may not be returned with the Z1 CPAP as part of the 15 day trial.

I was hesitant to purchase the z1 based upon its small size - could something that small actually work - and the reviews about the noise. I ultimately purchased it anyway because I needed a lighter, smaller travel machine. I could not be happier. It is louder that my bedside CPAP but it is not nearly as loud as I feared. I got used to it pretty quickly. Importantly, it works and works well. I have been on the road for two weeks changing hotels almost daily and loading up on an airplane. I can get the Z1 assembled or take it apart in less than a minute. It is small and light. It works well. The nitelog was a pleasant bonus. I downloaded the app and for the first time had a good look at how my CPAP actually works during the night. As an engineer that was more than interesting to me. I do one thing slightly different. I put the mask and electrical in the gray bag and I found another small bag to hold the z1 machine itself. That lets me arrange them in my carry-on a little more conveniently. All-in, I was pleasantly surprised. I was a skeptic. This is a great product.
Small but loud

The CPAP is as small and neat as it looks. The integrated power supply is also excellent. However it is rather noisy in comparison with other travel machines I have used and i have found it difficult to like for this reason.
