Product Description

The hypoallergenic filters are typically purchased by users with allergies, pets or are sensitive to higher levels of air pollutants in their region. This adds an extra level of protection from the air pollutants than the normal filter that comes with the S8 Series machines.

The filter is disposable and should be replaced monthly. Failure to keep a clean filter in the machine will cause the machine to work harder when providing the user with positive air pressure and could ultimately make the machine fail completely.

When replacing your old filters, the blue/yellow side faces OUT and the white side faces IN, towards the machine. The S8 line of CPAP machines does not use reusable foam and disposable filters, like other machines. Depending on the lot when purchased, the filter may be a blue color or yellow, but the effectiveness or quality is the same regardless of the color.

Recommended Replacement Schedule

• Tube Hose: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed)
• Foam Filters: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed); wash weekly
• Ultra Fine Filters: Every Month (or as needed)
• Water Chamber: Every 3-6 Months (or as needed); wash daily
