Neoprene Chin Strap for CPAP Therapy

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The neoprene chinstrap by Sunset Healthcare is designed to help the user who experiences their mouth opening while using a CPAP or Bi-Level machine.  This typically occurs because of the machine providing the positive air pressure and the user not being used to the pressure being provided.

The chinstrap will fit from the chin to the crown of the head and can either fit over the CPAP mask headgear or inside of the headgear.  Some users will put the chinstrap on first and then their CPAP mask so the headgear helps keep the chinstrap in place.

The chinstrap will typically not be used on going as the tendency to open the mouth should go away eventually after the user becomes more adjusted to the CPAP or Bi-Level pressure.

If used long term, wash weekly and replace every 3-6 months.

CPAP Chin Strap

by Olivia Smith (us) -

We use pacifier or chin strap to keep mouth closed. Non-pharmacologic sedation via nestting, incubator covers, demming of NICU lights also helps.

Keep my mouth Shut

by Janice (Sandusky, OH) -

My husband thought it was a funny idea cause he couldnt keep my mouth shut for 37 years. ha ha. But I love this chin strap. My mouth isnt dry when I wake up and I even feel better wearing it. I would pick this one cuase it really worked for me and I am a bad CPAP mouth breather. My 2 cents
