Philips Respironics EasyLife Nasal CPAP Mask

The Philips Respironics EasyLife nasal CPAP mask was developed to make fitting practically automatic. The patented Auto Seal technology allows the mask to self-adjust. Thanks to the unique dual-cushion design and Auto Seal technology, fitting a wide variety of users is a snap. The soft inner cushion readily adapts to facial contours to create an instant and self-adjusting seal, nearly eliminating the need for nose bridge and forehead pad adjustments. The outer cushion provides support, allowing the mask to rest lightly on the face, eliminating the need to over-tighten the headgear to achieve a suitable seal. The headgear features headgear stops for easier fitting and adjustment, which may result in a true first-time fit and fewer sealing issues.

Not only does the EasyLife adapt to your use, you will embrace an easy life. In addition to providing a premium seal, this revolutionary mask design is comfortable, quiet, and light weight. And with a grand total of just four parts (mask frame, headgear, outer support cushion, and inner seal cushion), it couldn't be simpler for you to care for. Performance, comfort, and ease of use. It all adds up to increased compliance. What more could you ask for?

silicone cushion that seals around the outside of the nose only.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal CPAP mask is
A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is
included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to
clean with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your
cushion seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.
Your headgear strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room
air.

Hope it helps

Not my favorite mask to use but since it doesn't cost a lot I stay with it. The cushion is kind of a pain to get attached to the mask. Hope it helps

Great Fit

Easy Mask for sure. Especially like the cushion, very comfortable and gives me a great seal through the night. Definitely makes my cpap therapy easier. Also like the fact that I didn't need a prescription.

sealed brilliantly and comfy!!

sealed brilliantly and comfy!! but i got a pressure sore on the bridge of the nose after the first night. this issue does need to be addressed [maybe an optional extra part]; as i have small features [between child & adult size] and don't have a mounded bridge at all. but i have had no end of trouble with fitting masks and have had to modify every single one i have owned and trialled [A LOT of masks]. ppl are so diverse so not every mask will fit without mods. am going to use a gel forehead piece from another mask to fix the only issue i had with this.

Not really a review but looking at the picture I can only imagine this is the most comfortable cpa mask ever made. Hope it lives up to that. Thanks
