Comfort is everything when it comes to using CPAP. The interface or CPAP mask is the most important part of that comfort. So if your going to sleep with something on your face all night long every night; shouldn't it be more like a material you would wear on the rest of your body? The original SleepWeaver has been a huge success and with the release of the SleepWeaver Elan we are sure it will follow in it's footsteps!

Circadiance has developed some nice features on the Elan. They have designed a swivel tube connection to allow for more freedom of movement. This really makes a big difference for side sleepers. You couple that with their feather lightweight tubing and it makes one good combination. The light weight tubing acts like a spring which connects to your standard tubing and helps keep the mask in place and not pulling away from your face while your sleeping.

I've had this mask for well over a year. It has come apart a few times and its pain to put back together - but it's worth it. It doesn't "fart" all night and is very comfortable. First time I've gone this long without have to buy a new mask or head gear or some kind of part. AND it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
My favorite mask

I have been using the Elan mask since it first came out. Prior to that I was using the other Sleepweaver nasal mask but I found the elastic over the forehead would stretch and I would lose the seal. After a trial with a silicone mask I was ready to give up on the Cpap because I was having so much burning and itching where the silicone touched my face. My doctor suggested I try Sleepweaver. I have tried other masks but the Elan remains my favorite. I like it because it is weightless and soft, does not irritate my skin and I can sleep on my side while wearing it. If I lose the seal I just gently lift it off my face, let it fill with air and reposition it over the top of my nose. I wish the headgear was better designed because it is rather big for my head (they do not offer a smaller size for women like other brands do). I have to fold the straps back quite a bit and the lower strap tends to fold up my earlobes. The mask itself needs to be replaced more often than a silicone mask because it stretches and then you lose the seal and so I was happy to find that this website offers just the mask part for sale and so I now purchase them in bulk and always have new ones on hand. The Elan mask lets me get seven to eight hours of sleep every night and I feel great the next day. It may not be for everyone but it is the one for me.

I have had good luck with this mask.. I find it easier to stop leakage with this then any other one I have used. It is very light. Can anyone tell me how often the mask should be replaced. I have it for 4 months now and find myself adjusting it often. Possibly stretching?

I love this mask, I can sleep in my side again and best of all dont have forhead dents or a sore nose. Just remember to adjust it using the tab at the base or at the tabs at the sides where it connects to the head gear rather than pull on the hose which can pull the hose out. I do wish they had a smaller size head gear but otherwise I will never go back to the hard plastic masks.
Not a mask I could use...

I hated this mask. I have had my Cpap machine for 11 years and I *love* it. All my masks will leak a little when I change positions at night. I just grab the nasal hose connection piece and pull it slightly away from my face and then reseat it. This always fixes it and I never even really wake up. That does not work with this mask. At all. The nasal piece is not actually attached to the mask. So when leakage would start and I lifted the nasal hose connection piece it totally detached from the mask. So several times a night I have to get up, turn on the light, take apart the nasal piece and reconnect it to the mask. At this point, I get more sleep when I don’t wear the mask even though I dream all night I’m being held under water. However, except for this problem I did like the mask. But for me it was just too big a problem to overcome.
