Product Description

Fisher and Paykel developed the Brevida Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask exclusively with your comfort in mind. Unlike full-face masks, Fisher Paykel Brevida nasal pillow masks with their corresponding headgear can be easily carried with travel CPAP machines, oxygen concentrators, and their CPAP tubing attachments.

Some new features include an easily adjustable headgear and the new, innovative AirPillow seal for a gentle, effective seal. The F-P Brevida mask or Paykel Brevida nasal pillow cushion is available in two sizes: extra small–small and medium–large. If unsure of the size to choose, try these fit-pack CPAP machine Brevida masks with headgear that come with all cushion sizes.

This Fisher Paykel Brevida pillow mask is an updated version of the Pilairo masks. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all nasal pillow design from the previous Pilairo, this mask has a more suitable design for a wider audience.

The Brevida Mask AirPillow is designed to be worn looser than other nasal pillows are. As the air enters the cushion, the AirPillow inflates, sealing in and around the bottom of the nose; this is different from how other nasal pillows work: forming a direct seal on the nostrils.

The silicone on the Fisher Paykel Brevida nasal mask is softer and thinner than other pillow masks, which makes wearing these Brevida CPAP masks a more comfortable experience than wearing nasal masks with a full-face attachment. The Brevida cushion is not worn as tightly on the nostrils; therefore, less pressure is required to seal. Because of less pressure involved, the silicone does not need to be as durable, making it more comfortable.

Special Features and Benefits

  • AirPillow Seal - as the CPAP air enters, the AirPillow inflates, sealing in and around the bottom of the nose. The silicone on the Fisher Paykel Brevida mask pillow is softer and thinner than other masks with nasal pillow seals are.
  • Adjustable Headgear - the headgear is lightweight and durable, with adjustable Velcro tabs that stay in place without shifting. The headgear features the split-strap design, similar to that of ResMed’s AirFit P10 mask or Philips Respironics mask, but it is adjustable using the Velcro straps. Also, the Velcro tabs are easier to find, and they stick better. This mask with headgear will not pop off during the night.
  • Washable Diffuser - the new style air diffuser reduces noise and air draft and is washable and durable
  • VisiBlue - the blue highlights incorporated into the F-P Brevida mask help you identify mask parts.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal pillow style CPAP mask. These masks are the least invasive and use silicone pillows that
seal in or around the outside of the nostril only.

Will This Brand
of Mask Work with Any CPAP Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal pillow CPAP
mask is A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Great mask

A great mask, handles high pressure, light and didn’t leave marks on my face. Only drawback I’d that it’s air filter might get lost

Great mask, especially for side sleepers

This is the 2nd best mask behind the Bleep eclipse. I thought I would never leave Bleep, but the halos are now just too expensive, $36 per month! After many video reviews of the Brevida, I gave it a try. Been using for 8 months now. According to the Resmed software, I've only had registered leaks 4 teams during that span. It feels really comfortable, easy to clean. Tanks to the filter, its Super quiet, my fiancee hardly notices it. Best part, the cushions only cost $25 and the last for 3 months or more! I miss having no head gear like with the Bleep Eclipse, but I don't miss paying $36 per month for halos!!!

In search of the holy grail

Thought this mask might be the holy grail but after one night of adjusting and readjusting discovered that the mask leaks air unless I sleep on my back and keep my head completely still. I tried loose fit and tight fit and everything in-between but no luck. Also discovered that the hose lays on your face unless the strap is very tight which in turn made my nose hurt. Nice idea but I will keep searching for the right mask.

Love the mask, headgear not so much

Love the mask, hate the headgear. It doesn’t stay on, but slips up the back of my head. I solved the issue by putting my hair in a ponytail and putting the strap under it to hold in down, but I wish they would make a better headgear. The mask is very comfortable.

Best by far!

I've tried 6 or 7 different masks and this is the most comfortable one yet! I'm purchasing a 2nd as a backup to be on the safe side!
