Product Description

The Fisher Paykel Brevida headgear is an adjustable and lightweight strap for the nasal pillow CPAP mask. Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

Great mask

A great mask, handles high pressure, light and didn’t leave marks on my face. Only drawback I’d that it’s air filter might get lost

Great mask, especially for side sleepers

This is the 2nd best mask behind the Bleep eclipse. I thought I would never leave Bleep, but the halos are now just too expensive, $36 per month! After many video reviews of the Brevida, I gave it a try. Been using for 8 months now. According to the Resmed software, I've only had registered leaks 4 teams during that span. It feels really comfortable, easy to clean. Tanks to the filter, its Super quiet, my fiancee hardly notices it. Best part, the cushions only cost $25 and the last for 3 months or more! I miss having no head gear like with the Bleep Eclipse, but I don't miss paying $36 per month for halos!!!

In search of the holy grail

Thought this mask might be the holy grail but after one night of adjusting and readjusting discovered that the mask leaks air unless I sleep on my back and keep my head completely still. I tried loose fit and tight fit and everything in-between but no luck. Also discovered that the hose lays on your face unless the strap is very tight which in turn made my nose hurt. Nice idea but I will keep searching for the right mask.

Love the mask, headgear not so much

Love the mask, hate the headgear. It doesn’t stay on, but slips up the back of my head. I solved the issue by putting my hair in a ponytail and putting the strap under it to hold in down, but I wish they would make a better headgear. The mask is very comfortable.
