Lithium-Ion Battery Warnings
- Do not drop, hit or crush or otherwise cause any impact damage to the battery as this may result in exposure of the cell contents. If the battery is leaking, do not touch the battery leakage directly.
- Do not expose the battery to water, rain or moisture of any kind.
- Do not expose the battery to an open flame or extreme heat (>104°F) including long term exposure to direct sunlight. Exposure to any of these may result in damage to the lithium-ion cells and may cause an explosion.
- Do not charge the battery on any highly flammable surface.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the battery.
- Ensure the battery is thoroughly inspected for any physical damage. If any damage is found, the battery should not be used.
- Prevent the risk of electric short circuit by using only the appropriate power supply for the battery.
- Do not operate the device if the battery housing is damaged.
- Do not allow liquids to enter the battery.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Local regulations and laws pertaining to the recycling and disposal of lithium-ion batteries vary, so it’s important to check the laws and dispose of the battery properly.
PLEASE NOTE: Fully charge your battery every six months or less. Failure to charge the battery regularly will cause damage to the lithium-ion cells and permanently diminish run time. Failure to charge the battery regularly is considered neglect and will not be covered under the limited warranty.
