ResMed Chin Strap Restraint for CPAP Mouth Breathing
ResMed Chin Strap Restraint is used when CPAP pressure causes your mouth to blow open during while sleeping on your CPAP machine. An indicator that this may be happening to you is waking with dry mouth. If you use a nasal or nasal pillow style you may be susceptible to mouth breathing.
ResMed CPAP Mask Chin Strap Restraint
This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription.
The ResMed chin strap restraint keeps the mouth closed while using a nasal or nasal pillow mask on CPAP therapy. The pressure delivered from your sleep apnea therapy device can cause the mouth to blow open, especially if you are prescribed a higher setting. Other options to consider for eliminating mouth breathing would be to try a full face style of CPAP mask that covers the nose and mouth. Waking with mouth dryness could be an indicator that your mouth is falling open during sleep.
